Meier’s Service to Others
Every day, at least 6,200 children die from starvation. And in 2015, more than 1 million volunteers packaged nearly 273 million meals for malnourished children around the world. Recently, 27 Meier Tool employees joined these volunteers and became a part of the solution to this local and global problem.
The Meier employees and their families participated in two fun and engaging evenings packaging food and meeting other community volunteers with Feed My Starving Children, a local nonprofit in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The information provided by the organization motivated and inspired our employees, many of whom intend to continue to donate their time and money to Feed My Starving Children. Thanks to Meier’s efforts, more than 170 children will now have meals for a year.
It is heartwarming to see our team members bring the same passion to serving our community that they bring to our facility Meier Tool every day, enhancing our manufacturing process and operational excellence.
At Meier Tool we are committed not only to producing and continually improving the highest-quality precision stamped products but also to improving the lives of those less fortunate. We believe in making the world a better place, whether at our facility through high tolerance engineering or in our local and global communities.
“Sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways it can change someone else’s life forever.”
