Meier Tool & Engineering Inc. serves metal stamping and precision stamping needs for the following markets: electronics, medical device, automotive, military and aerospace, telecommunications, and hardware. Micro miniature and/or complex geometries represent Meier Tool & Engineering's focus in the broader metal stamping industry. Today's metal stamping market demands product design assistance, rapid turnaround on production tooling and prototyped parts, well defined quality metal stamping systems, as well as cost-effective precision stamping services.
Meier Tool & Engineering Inc. has a goal to provide the metal stamping market more than these base level expectations. Our ability to innovate and provide novel metal stamping solutions to our customers and prospects gives us a unique position in the metal stamping industry. We are a custom metal stamping company. Many of the programs in production at Meier Tool & Engineering Inc. were rough concepts in the RFQ phase. Certainly we can provide parts per print but many of our customers choose to leverage our expertise with metal stampings. Product design assistance, rapid prototypes, metal stampings, tooling design and production, inventory management of production parts are all standard issue at Meier Tool & Engineering Inc. Average lead times on production tooling (including design) are typically seven weeks. The metal stamping industry has gone beyond competitive. Much of the work is now overseas. Domestically, future success in the metal stamping industry requires working in niche markets and/or changing the scope of the offerings.
