We offer sub-assembly services through either manual, semi-automated or fully automated processes depending on the level of precision and throughput rate needed. A few of the benefits of using our assembly services are:
Our assembly team applies manual, semi-automated and fully automated techniques to transform a variety of components into sub-assemblies. For labor-intensive sub-assemblies, we can provide a combination of manual and automated or fully robotic operations. We have the in-house ability to design and build manual and automated equipment including assembly and inspection fixtures, as well as the integration of robots, vision inspection systems and laser welders.
We design, build and run dies to not only stamp & form precision parts; we also automatically join them with other components right in the die. High-speed staking, crimping, clinching and other techniques deliver precise sub-assemblies without additional processing steps or handling. This capability allows us to quickly deliver simple or complex sub-assemblies that are ready for your final assembly.
Laser welding technology provides a high strength weld without the need for flux or dissimilar metal. This method is preferred over brazing and other joining methods when bio-compatibility is a concern. Using ND: YAG lasers, including diode pumped laser technology; we can perform miniature welds on many alloys on wall thicknesses down to .025mm (.001"). Examples are stainless steels, titanium, gold, magnesium and others.
